Speaker Guidelines

Paper Submission
After the event, all papers presented at Metering & Billing/CRM Europe 2007 will be published on the website. In order to enable the delegates to easily download the presentations, please make sure that the paper does not exceed the maximum size of 5 MB. Papers will be made available in .PDF format.

Presentations should comply with the following general requirements:

  • not sales-oriented*
  • do not feature company name, logo or contact details
  • do not include brand names of any products
  • reflect new information or new developments
  • don't be too general; a specific viewpoint is preferred
  • presentation should not have been presented at any other event, unless they contain new information and have been adapted for the audience

* commercial presentations will not be accepted; the conference management reserves the right to delete any commercial references

Subsequent Publishing of Papers
Authors may have their papers included in the trade press and/or distribute reprints provided:

  • Publication or distribution does not occur before the presentation at Metering, Billing/CRM Europe 2007;
  • Mention is given to the Metering, Billing/CRM Europe 2007 conference & exhibition in subsequent reprints.

Audiovisual Equipment
All conference rooms have been equipped with a laptop, beamer and screen. If you need any additional audiovisual equipment please contact the conference management.

Timekeeping
Each speaker has 25 minutes for his/her presentation, with 5 minutes being allocated to questions from the audience. When you are preparing your talk we suggest you plan for a presentation time of 20 minutes; this will give the chairman enough time to introduce you. Please ensure that your presentation does not run over the time allocated.

Speaker Ready Room
The speaker ready room in the conference area is the place for speakers to check their presentation and to make last minute changes. A computer and printer are available to enable speakers to prepare themselves.
